Use a flat-edged object like a credit card to gently scrape the stinger out. Avoid using tweezers unless absolutely necessary, as squeezing the venom sac can inject more venom into the skin.
After removing the stinger, wash the area thoroughly with soap and water to reduce the risk of infection. Pat the area dry with a clean towel and apply a cold compress or an ice pack wrapped in a cloth. This helps numb the pain and minimize swelling and inflammation.

3. Honey
Raw honey has natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Apply a small amount of honey to the affected area and cover it with a clean bandage. This can reduce inflammation and protect against infection. Reapply as symptoms persist.
4. Toothpaste
Some people find relief by applying a small dab of toothpaste—especially mint-flavored—on the sting site. It may help neutralize the venom and cool the skin, although scientific evidence is limited.
5. Apple Cider Vinegar
Diluted apple cider vinegar can help break down the bee venom and soothe irritation. Soak a cotton ball in a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water, and apply it to the sting for 10 to 15 minutes.
6. Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe vera is well-known for its skin-soothing effects. Its cooling gel helps reduce redness, pain, and inflammation. Apply pure aloe vera gel directly to the sting area several times a day.
7. Tea Tree Oil
This essential oil contains antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Dilute a drop or two with a carrier oil such as coconut or olive oil before applying it to the sting. Avoid using undiluted essential oils directly on the skin.
8. Witch Hazel
Witch hazel is a natural astringent that may help reduce itching and swelling. Dab some witch hazel on a cotton pad and gently apply it to the affected skin for a soothing effect.
9. Calendula Cream
